A New School Year!

What an exciting year we have ahead of us! This year we kick off a yearly education theme. For 2018-19, it’s Derek Eretz! We will be exploring how we interact with others in this world, as viewed through a Jewish lens. We are also excited about the introduction of JCAFE – our new 11th and 12th grade program! During the year, we are going to have opportunities for parents to come and be a part of the school day. We are also continuing our partnership with JLine for our 8th  through 10th graders. It’s going to be a great year, and we can’t wait for the learning journey to begin!

The Temple Ohav Shalom Center for Early Learning is an early childhood program guided by Jewish values and inspired by the philosophy of Reggio Emilia schools. We welcome all families into our preschool community. Learn more about our educational philosophy and commitment to quality early childhood education.

Newest rabbi finding his way in Steel City

Rabbi Jeremy Weisblatt may be a Philadelphia sports fan, but he has already made a solemn promise to his new congregation: If the Pittsburgh Steelers make it to the Super Bowl, he will don a Steelers jersey and wear it to shul.
