Our Preschool Director

Liz Sender has been the Director of the Preschool at Temple Ohav Shalom since 2006 and has been a teacher at the preschool for nine years. She has sixteen years of early childhood teaching experience. Prior to joining the Temple Ohav Shalom staff, she taught at the Jewish Community Center in Dallas, Texas.

In 2005, Liz participated in a two-year study program focusing on bringing Israel into the early childhood classroom. The study program concluded with a two week tour of Israel, in which participants visited several early childhood classrooms and shared ideas with Israeli teachers. Liz has a Bachelors of Science degree from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She takes a minimum of 30 hours each year of continuing education courses within the field of early childhood education.
