Shalom Tots

Picture
Shalom Tots is an initiative of Temple Ohav Shalom for families with children ages five and younger. The goal of Shalom Tots is to welcome, engage, and give young families in the community the opportunity to connect with each other while creating a foundation for the Jewish identity in our children. Shalom Tots offers a collection of programming, such as Friday night Tot Shabbat, Saturday morning Shabbat Sha-Brunch, and joint programming with PJ Library. We are continually growing and adapting to the needs of the families at TOS and in the community. For more information about Shalom Tots and to hear about our upcoming events, please email shalomtots@templeohavshalom.org.

Ohav Youth (OY!)

OY! is our program for TOS high school students in 9th-12th grade. OY members have some fantastic activities planned throughout the year. OY! is affiliated with the Northeast Lakes Council of the North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY). During the year there are several regional and national NFTY activities and kallot (gatherings). These programs provide informal Jewish eduction, peer socialization and community building.  Along with many more programs OY members have the opportunity to go to regional conventions with NFTY-PAR in the Pocono Mountains and other city-wide and regional events, where they can connect and network with other Jewish teens from the region.
